Advancing Pharmaceutical Science

GRY Institute of Pharmacy actively promotes a culture of research and innovation. Faculty and postgraduate students regularly contribute to pharmaceutical sciences through journal publications, conference presentations, and innovative drug delivery research.

Our M.Pharm program mandates a dissertation project in the second year, ensuring that all postgraduate students contribute to the body of pharmaceutical knowledge. Research topics are drawn from real-world pharmaceutical challenges in drug formulation, medicinal chemistry, and clinical pharmacy.

Research in nanoparticles, liposomes, microspheres, transdermal drug delivery and controlled release formulations with enhanced bioavailability.

Pharmaceutical Analysis

Screening of plant extracts and synthetic compounds for antimicrobial and antifungal activity. Drug-resistant organism studies and new molecule research.
Clinical Pharmacy Studies
Medication review studies, adverse drug reaction monitoring, pharmacovigilance and drug interaction studies in collaboration with local healthcare facilities.
Computational Chemistry
In-silico drug design, molecular docking and QSAR studies using computer-aided drug design tools and online pharmacophore modelling platforms.
